Can I buy you a drink?
Am Wochenende war ich in Liverpool und wurde dort Zeuge einer dann doch recht angehmen Form einer On-Site Promo-Aktion von SONY.
Wir saßen da zu zweit so in einer recht tuffigen Bar namens "korova" und tranken ein Glas San Miguel, als sich auf einmal zwei hübsche Mädels zu uns gesellten.
"Can we buy you a drink" fragten sie und mein Kollege meinte schlagfertig: "Where is the catch?"
Es gab keinen Haken. Wir bekamen jeder ein Bier und eine Playstation in die Hand gedrückt, auf der wir rumdaddeln durften. Und wurden abschließend mit den Mädels und den Playstations fotografiert.
Werbung für die PSP. 2,7 Pfund Sterling für bestimmt hundert Kontakte. Billiger gehts ja kaum, oder? Die Bilder hab ich noch nicht gefunden.
Das geilste war, dass die Bilder mit einer mechanischen Einmalkamera gemacht wurden. Mal sehen, ob ich die noch ausfindig mache.
Fazit: nette Aktion mit "Beervertising"

Recently, when Snoop Dogg expressed interest in buying a ride, he needed a translator.
According to the "Financial Times", the Dogg Father called the German chief executive of Chrysler, Dieter Zetsche. On his answering machine, he left the following message:"Yo, what up? This is big Snoop Dogg trying to put these new legs down for the new Snoop 300C. Get back in contact with my nephew so he can make it happen, then it's official like a referee with a whistle."
"He speaks a different language so I had to get it translated," Zetsche told the Executives' Club of Chicago.
Luckily, Zetsche's 16-year-old son translated. He let his uncle know that was Snoop's way of expressing a desire to purchase the Chrysler 300C, one of nine new vehicles the carmaker is releasing for 2005.
…und so passierte auf der „North American International Automobile Show“ in Detroit folgendes…der Preis ging an:
DETROIT January 2006: The head of DaimlerChrysler's Chrysler division borrowed a phrase from rapper Snoop Dogg on Thursday to thank Motor Trend magazine for naming the Chrysler 300 its 2005 "car of the year."
"Winning the Motor Trend Car of the Year award is huge for us," said Dieter Zetsche, Chrysler's president and chief executive.
Zetsche: "As Snoop Dogg would say, it's the shizzle,".
